Thought it might be cool to have some threads where people are able to share their creations in certain video games. First of all, I wanted to start off with Super Mario Maker!
I created my own course earlier in Cemu (although technically, I started this in 2023 on my Wii U, unable to upload it since the uploading functions were gone by then). It’s nothing complex and it’s not a great stage, but I wanted to make something since I haven’t made something in so long!

How do you enter IDs in the 3DS version? I don’t have the Wii U version.

You don’t. Nintendo removed the ability to upload and search.
The only way to share on 3DS is via Streetpass.
It would be cool if we can share levels with Netpass or SRP (not possible, I know)
Except you can, though!
Make a level, share it with StreetPass in-game, and you can distribute it with SPR and Netpass!

Woah, Pretendo continues to impress me!
But, to receive the levels with Netpass, how do you do it? Because you have to choose the receive option in-game 
“Receive” in-game opens up once you’ve passed.
Just pass like normal in NetPass, and when you have at least 1 pass (you can see in 3DS Notifications applet) you can then “receive” in-game.
So, after receiving the netpass streetpass, I open up the game and I click on receive ?

Uuh, so, it seems it doesn’t work because It’s looking for a player nearby, loading infinitely

Does the notifications applet say you have Streetpasses for Mario maker?
Opening up Netpass does not guarantee a pass
You have to have a Pass to receive in-game.

Uuh, I can’t find an option to activate streetpass on the game
In other games I always get pass, like mk7 or streetpass plaza
Someone has to send their level first, right?
When I press send or receive, I go to this infinite screen
Maybe it’s because no one is sending a level, or I need to be side by side with anyone
For information, SRP and Netpass work on my 3ds
Try this:
- Open Netpass
- Select a location
- Select Black Market
- Use play coins (first for the day is free) to force a pass for Mario Maker
That should guarantee at least 1 level received.

Uuh I don’t understand in the sense that the level I’m gonna receive but I’ll try
The level you get is random. But not a lot of people on Netpass use Mario Maker, so you’re not guaranteed a pass unless you “buy” one from the Black market.

I turned the game over and over and actually you had to activate the option from the world stages
Otherwise I bought some pass and it works perfectly.
