How come Pretendo did not make this feature available? What if they lost their 3DS, or Wii U? Then how would they make replies and posts on Juxt?
It’s to prevent banned users from evading bans by creating new accounts without linking them to a console.
Couldn’t Pretendo do checks to see whether an account has been used on a console? It would be nice if you could access Juxt via web (reasons that were proposed in [Feature]: Adding quality of life features for a potential web release · Issue #79 · PretendoNetwork/juxtaposition-ui · GitHub).
Sorry, I think I misunderstood the question. I agree that it would be nice to reply and make drawings on Juxt using a browser!
To answer the other question,
Yeah, we actually already do that. Trying to sign into the Juxt website before signing in on a console shows the error “Account Creation is only available when you have a linked Wii U or 3DS.” You can’t even view posts without linking a console first.
