Help With MK8 on Cemu - Infinitely Loading

Hello. Hope there is still someone in this thread. What if I don’t have any friends, but still have this problem?

I moved this to its own thread so it can be addressed appropriately.

Under %appdata%/Cemu, there should be a log.txt file containing info about your game session. Please send the full log if you can. If you aren’t able to upload the file, paste the last 20 or so lines of the log.

One thing that I’m noticing here is that you don’t have the latest update of Splatoon. Have you dumped the 2.12.1 update to use with Cemu?

Now I updated the game to what seems to be the latest version, cemu says that the game version is 288, but the problem persists

What about the line where it says "Title has missing meta .xml files”?

I also tried going online in Mario Kart 8. The game itself works, but the problem is the same - an endless connection to the servers.

This doesn’t seem to be the full log, there’s usually more information than this

Log messages below ------- Run title ------- is where the problem may lie

I posted somewhere else but I should make a really complete “Mario Kart for Dummmies” a parody of the dummy books. Ill make a rough one here as I have went through a lot of trial and error with Cemu.

1.) Check your Cemu version, make sure to use the Nightly if you want more stability. I have tested 2.6 and the nightly(s) back to back and the nightlys have significantly less stutter and lows.

2.) Once on the nightly version of cemu, usually designated by a string of numbers/letters you can proceed to then re-rip** your information off of your Wii U console with the program Dumpling. The quickest and easiest method I have found is to take your usr/bin and all of the files you need and then dump them to the sd card.

3.) Since you already have/had cemu installed, there will be folder in your %appdata% Roaming folder titled just Cemu. You’re going to want to replace the mlc01 and the otp and seeprom bins in that folder.

Step 4.) Check Cemu once opened for a game update/title update to make sure your game is on the latest version, which iirc is 4.2 for MK. Make sure all community graphic packs are also updated.

I know this sounds like a re-hash of their tutorial but this is the absolute quickest and easiest way I have found that solves either random error codes, or inf- loading.

Crucial: It is okay to just paste over and replace the seeprom and otp .bin files, as you technically have your Wii U as a backup, but it doesn’t hurt to save those files in a folder on your desktop.

This is a website that provides developer builds from any github branch, and works for Cemu.

Please do not click the installer, and just stick with the portable version as I have found a lot of issues with the non-portable.
