002-0152 error in acnl

hello! i really want to play animal crossing new leaf online, but it simply doesn’t seem to be working for me.

i have seen other posts having the same issue and tried what helped them fix it, such as updating luma or putting the 3gx file in the luma folder but none of these things have changed anything unfortunately.

i would be really happy about help, thank you

Follow these steps:
*You must be using the latest version of Luma.

Open Nimbus.

Press Y to launch the add-on.

Open ACNL.

If you see a blue screen when you launch the game, it means the add-on has loaded.

Try it and see if it works for you.

I have done all of these things already. and when opening animal crossing and the loading screen pops up, it even tells me in the right corner that the plugin is activated. still not working though

When you activate the plugin (ninbus), what message appears in the upper left corner?

Which version of Luma are you using?

Where can I see that? I just updated it in the universial updater

Turn off your 3DS and turn it back on by pressing select; the version will be in the top left corner.

It says Luma3ds v13.3.3

Try installing Nimbus from GitHub

I have done that multiple times yesterday ;_; i have no idea why this isnt working

Try reinstalling it from Universal and try again.

When I click select while being in the game, it tells me this. I guess it should be saying something like active.

Try this:

  1. Open Universal Updater
  2. Search “luma” and download the Luma3ds boot.firm
  3. Still in Universal Updater, also search “Nimbus” and re-install it (no need to uninstall first)
  4. Reboot your console
  5. Open Nimbus and press “start” to finish the Nimbus Update process
  6. Open Nimbus again to Verify you are on pretendo. If so, great! Press the button it says to launch the plugin!
  7. Now open ACNL and try connecting online!

Yes I have done this, multiple times even. but I’m still getting error 002-0152

Do you have the Plugin loader active in the Rosalina menu?

Yep, it tells me it is enabled
