Hello guys will we get Splatfests on the pretendo Splatoon servers in the future or will they never comeback in the game?
From an official topic here, “Please note that Pretendo doesn’t support Splatfests at the moment. There’s no ETA for Splatfest support.”
Yes, we want to host Splatfests in the future but right now we don’t have the capability of them. We’ve ran a test recently which is a good sign

Did the test go well or badly?
Tests are still ongoing, believe there’s a couple of issues to get ironed out. It does NOT mean Splatfest support will be added anytime soon.
The test went well. Its definitely better than the matchmaking from a year ago. We couldnt test it completely because there was a bug and a minor issue with the leading. We’ll run another test soon and then investigate the problem.
