Is it happening all over the WiiU users? And will be be fixed overtime?
can confirm that Juxt on Wii U is having problems loading certain images.
Not sure why it’s happening unfortunately, seems to be affecting all Wii U users.
I’m not an expert on this, but this looks like a server issue.
Glad to know it’s not just me. I hope it gets fixed soon.
When did this happen?
This happened today.
Might make a proper post at this point and pin it to Wii U Support if this is still an issue in the morning.
If this get fixed then let me know
i wonder if its a SSL issue or CDN side
I have more information about it afaik, it’s a Cloudflare setting from what I know
Can’t replicate, works fine for me on a fresh Aroma setup with only the minimal homebrew needed to connect to the servers+a fork of Hokaku that dumps SSL connections (but that isn’t relevant here)
Edit: I was able to trigger the issue after switching to prod after a couple tries. Maybe it’s a prod-specific issue? Unfortunately my Wii U SD card also just happened to die it seems, so I’ve ordered a new one. Won’t be able to debug anything else until then
Any updates on this? Were you able to solve your SD card woes?
Just asked Jon about it. The SD card is here, but solving it isn’t an easy task at the moment, we’re waiting on other people at the moment.
Essentially it’s an issue relating to some certificates expiring.
Due to specific requirements and where we store the assets for CDN purposes, we employ a custom SSL certificate issued by Kaeru Team. This certificate expired and we’re just waiting on Kaeru to issue a new one (which has already been brought to their attention). This is largely a legacy issue we can work around now but it would require some large migrations. We’re going to do that migration in the future but for now it’s easier to just get a new SSL certificate
lol so it rlly was a SSL issue all along
tho i dont get how it still happens considering Inkay patches rootca.pem with GTS root certs to allow portal to load, and i already know X-Nintendo-Whitelist allows for the portal CDN site, i would think the CDN domain would work with the same cert the portal uses but it seems not? interesting to know
