Basically, the thing is, I want to play Nintendo Land and Animal Crossing amiibo Festival again, but back in April, when I did the save data transfer via SaveMii thing, I noticed there were these “common” save datas (I think they are the Shared Save Files)
However, I remember both of these games had this thing where they would assign high scores to certain users on the console, and make them show up for other users. So i’m wondering, does backing up the common save while my old user is selected and restoring that backup with my new user selected transfer the high scores and stuff that were on my old user? Just making sure!
Common saves are for all users, no matter who is selected. (Think Splatoon rotation data, it’s “shared” save data)
Also, Nintendo Land also is weird with saving in general. Individual saves are tied to the Mii and not the user itself. Very odd.
so you’re saying that if i select my original Mii (which is identical to my Pretendo Mii anyways), it will have my old scores and stuff?
Yes. You can change the User Mii on Wii U to get this to happen.
