So I decided to hop on my Wii U, but when I turned it on, it played the boot animation and sound, then it gave me a black screen. Even with the Quick Start Menu, it doesn’t work. I tried many different things; I ejected the disk, though when it “screams” to insert a disk, it did it twice (which it doesn’t do). Then I took out the SD card and turned it on, which worked perfectly. Then, when it was on, my memory stick flashed on the bottom screen; even still, nothing worked when I took out the memory stick.
Never mind, my SD card is most likely ded.
Did you recently install Roseverse but not update to the latest Aroma CFW?
If you don’t have the latest Aroma, Roseverse will cause the black screen.
I had installed rosevere from homebrew App Store, though aroma is up to date. All that was the issue was I was using an off brand Amazon SD card.
