I had absolutely no clue that this thing existed at all.
If only Nintendo made these kinds of quirky apps again…

haven’t seen you in a good while. im surprised. that is honestly impressive that you got it working at all… considering google maps changed a lot after the shutdown. (and most likely the API aswell)

It’s looking really good, I like the idea of exploring the world with the Wii U GamePad, so I’ve always been really curious about using Wii Street U.
Woah, what a wonderful project! I love to explore street view so much! That’s my way of doomscrolling the social feed, and I pretty much prefer that.
But I always found it cumbersome with a phone (that’s actually atrocious) or a mouse. This Wii U app is looking as a perfect fit for me. But of course it’s dead. And here is your project! Man, I love you, please, do continue it!
I am working on it but it is a bit slow because my exams are coming up :\
Wait? I am a bit of a scatterbrain, is @dwyazzo90 working on the project or you? Sorry for the inconvenience, btw- will there be, or is there a github repo?
We both are. There will not be a GitHub repo for now since nothing is definitive yet.
Cool! Thanks for the info, Good luck on the project!!!
This genuinely looks great. I hope this can be released to the public soon. Good luck hope everything goes well in this project
Dang this looks awesome!
if you’re getting ssl errors then can’t you just change the https part of the url to http? i have worked on a google frontend in the past and have found some long lost swfs for the youtube wii application so i would love to help out with this!
It’ll be really cool once this is up and running, I’m a sucker for random applications like this on the DS/Wii/3DS/Wii U lol
Wow! Incredible work! I’m so glad to see people care about this stuff as much as me, I was worried it was going to stay dead and forgotten forever. Wishing you guys the best of luck on this project!
