Why is it hated? It is a really cool game
Every Wii sports game was good.

Just really HD Wii Sports with a few extras like online and more training modes afaik
Colour palette looks a bit dull iirc too

Because it was just an mainly an HD port of Wii Sports for the Wii U, and them ruining boxing, and the forced implementation of the gamepad for golf and baseball.
And also because of its very confusing launch.

I mean, though the game was a blatant cash grab for Nintendo, I certainly liked the HD graphics for the old games.
(It would have been 100 times better if they took a resort approach by adding extra games…)

dont think thats true… there all mostly made in the same places. the only difference is the regoin lock
