Why do i always disconect from splatoon at 40down/20up

my internet is fast enough for the wii u i keep disconnecting i am using disk and have wii u below tv no hard drive on top wifi card my router is aroud 30-40 feet away

Internet speeds don’t really make much of a difference here, given the Wii U is capped to 25mbps and realistically Splatoon 1 won’t use much more than 1mbps.

1. It might be helpful checking you don’t have anything like a hard drive on top of your Wii U since that can cause interference and try to see whether you can move your Wii U closer to your router or get wired.
