What does it mean if a post is bumped?

ive seen that some posts get bumped, what does it mean? :thinking:

It just means that it’s been bumped up the recent posts instead of being buried under newer posts, as far as I’ve seen it, it’s on support threads which haven’t had activity for about a week unless it has a solution or it’s closed

A bump is usually followed by someone asking if the issue is still there and they need assistance, so it’s pretty much the forum saying that the support thread is still open and doesn’t have a solution, it’s usually not important as a regular user unless you’re the OP or someone actively involved in the thread
