Just curious if it’s possible to play Minecraft on my PC with dumped files, and then have a friend/family member use the console I own and dumped the files from to play a Minecraft world with me? With different accounts ofc
Or is it buggy/against the rules.

We made this topic public as it’s a good question that others can benefit from reading/searching.
The short answer is, yes.
If you properly set up CEMU with your console and account files, one person can play on Cemu and one person can play on console at the same time (but from two different PNID accounts).
However, as you said it’s for a friend/family member, just be careful who you share console files with as they can be abused on the Network and we do issue account and console bans in the case of abuse.
Will I and/or my friend/family member’s account get banned if we were to connect from different IP addresses? Are there any issues if we connect over the same IP address? Can we connect to a different console with the same files and from the same IP address?
Just like to know the limits of what is and isn’t allowed, thx
With Splatoon you may have a bug where you can connect with the same network because Wii U and PC have different IPs i don’t know with Minecraft but i recomend use your mobile phone has Hotspot on PC and on your phone disable your wi-fi and leave only the SIM Internet
You would have to, since two devices cannot share the same IP unless there is something in the middle between it and the access point which specifically makes every device connected to it share an IP, which is something you likely wouldn’t have as an ordinary user (not sure if this even exists, maybe something like a network switch? I’ve got one and it acts more as an extension of my router’s LAN ports)
As Joshua has said, one person can play on Cemu and another on the Wii U on a different account without issue, just as long as you’re careful with who you share your online files with
Pretty much just follow basic courtesy of no cheating and being respectful to other players and you should be in the clear
