i didin’t update nimbus from the new update release and i update it from universal updater and soon i close it i get error and say i remove my SD card and i didin’t remove it and after reboot my 3DS all my games disappear and for homebrew apps but my themes still working even without Anemone and Rosalina menu still working and for godmode9 i try to remove my SD card and enter it but didin’t work so i delete all files in my SD card and replace it all with my backup ( it only have Basic homebrew apps ) and i try to update Nimbus and the same thing happened it crash and etc …
i am cooked because i had save dates and i can’t restore them please help
By deleting these things from your SD card, you made them impossible to recover. Any games that were installed to SD or used the SD for saving got lost if you actually deleted them.
What error were you getting closing Nimbus? If it was a crash, we need to see the crash screen.
i get error after closing universal updater and it crash but it say that SD card has been removed and i after rebooting my 3DS all my games disappear and with the homebrew apps from home menu i try recover without delete SD card by copy backup and replace the files without delete games or save data and that didin’t work i still didin’t find all the games or apps on my home menu so i had to delete my SD card and use my backup
( about the crash i don’t have any screenshots or picture )
It’s possible your SD card is going bad?
Are you able to test with a new, separate SD card using the backups you already made and seeing if it works properly?
Also gonna ping @support-helper for insight/comments as well.
i don’t suspect that my SD card is going bad because this SD card that i use to my 3DS is new one i buy it 4 weeks ago
Hmm. I would wait for Support Helpers to chime in.
The age of the card tends to be irrelevant unless it is a known good card, which currently we do not know
Please perform these steps to validate the legitimacy of your SD card
-
Hold Start while powering on the console to open GodMode9
-If the Luma3DS Chainloader opens, select
GodMode9from the List -
Press the HOME button
-
Scroll down to
More...and press A, then scroll down toSystem infoand press A -
On line 14, there should be the words
System ID1:, send the last 6 characters of theID1, as this can indicate if the SD card is fake
Note that yourSystem ID1may be on line 15, make sure that you’re sending theID1and not theID0
Do not take a picture and send this screen, as I’m pretty sure this screen contains sensitive console-specific information which should not be shared publicly and I am not willing to take a risk on it as I only need one thing from this screen
After sending the last 6 characters of the ID1 it will be used to confirm if your SD is legitimate or fake
