We have begun the process of slowly bringing everything out of maintenance. The reason for the unexpected downtime was due to a security report we received privately. Much like with the ACNL RCE report, we opted to take things down while we investigated. Rather than updating this forum thread with any new information, for the latest details and information see https://pretendo.network/blog/7-17-26.
Not everything will be up right away, this is a slow rollout. The following services are being put back up currently:
- The website and forum
- The account server
- The friends list server
- ACNL
- Mario Kart 8
- Smash
- Metroid Prime FF
All other games and services, including Juxtaposition, are still being prepped with the relevant updates. Certain games which still run on older versions of our libraries, or which have custom/non-standard features, such as Super Mario Maker and Splatoon, may take additional time to bring back up. We thank you for your patience as we get everything back up and running.
