Unable to connect to the server.

I have just been trying to get into the pretendo stuff as I had been following it fairly closely for a while. I just installed Aroma today as I had previously been using SDMocha for generic homebrewing. Afterwards I created a pretendo account. linked it to my WII U and am only given the Unable to Connect to the Server. Error Code: 102-2932. I have tried using wireless and wired internet. and the same. If anyone could help or inform me if perhaps the service is down for the moment. that would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

hmmmmm… I’ll start by checking a few things:

  • have you used the Rosé Patch, which is generally needed for Project Rosé? (probably completely unrelated but I’m just going off of what @jerrysm64 on the Discord server thought of)
  • are you using a proxy? some users (cc @Mariostriker124, one of our Support Helpers) have suggested that using a custom proxy can sometimes cause this error.
  • what version is your Wii U currently on? if you have an Americas console, you should be on further version 5.5.6U; otherwise, you should have 5.5.5J/E. if your version number is different, switch back to Nintendo Network and perform a system update. (although it is unlikely that homebrew will disappear or be affected, we recommend checking with Nintendo Homebrew to confirm in their server.)

let us know what happens after checking the above!

Thank you for the input.

I’ll take a look and get back to you!

Just checked. My WII U is on 5.5.6U and my network is not using a proxy. And I’ve never heard of Rose Patch.

I should also perhaps preface that this doesnt appear to be just a pretendo issue it appears? switching off Inkay and switching to one of my known working NNID’s still throws up this error. I’m not sure what could be causing this as It wasnt doing it before the Nintendo Server shutdown. but I also haven’t started my WII U in quite a while. If that helps any. I didn’t notice that it was an issue to my whole console rather than just the Pretendo account. And if its even fixable.

@support-helper Any ideas for this one?

Small update that I’m not sure helps any. But it appears that switching back to standard Nintendo Network isn’t simply not working, going to the account that I have tested works in the past, SOMETIMES throws up the error. and other times has no issue. I know inconsistency cant be good. But I just thought I should report that. But I have not once had the Pretendo Network work.

Are your Aroma and Inkay up to date?

Both Inkay and Aroma are up to date.
