I’ve switched after some time from NNID to PNID, as I started playing Pokemon and wanted to move Pokemon to Pokemon Bank, then to Pokemon Home. Well, I received the update message which mentions Pokemon X/Y and ORAS, I’m just in OR. I have my doubts about what it means that it will only be for testers. in turn I have seen that it is surely linked to the subscription, which I do not see as a difference from tier 2 to tier 3. if so to access these servers, maybe I will consider in the future subscribing. once the subscription is finished, access to those servers is also lost, right?
Yes, tester access is currently for donors. Tester access is a donation perk before a game server is ready to go public.
When a game server is ready it will be public for everyone.
There is no functional difference between Tier 2 (Super Mario) and Tier 3 (Mega Mushroom) except the amount of money donated per month.
Correct. The donation does auto-renew, but if you cancel before you auto-renew, the perks are lost immediately.
Note that when you donate, your 3DS Friend Code sill has to be manually whitelisted on this thread:
Can you try this:
- Open Universal Updater
- Search “luma” and download the Luma3ds “boot.firm”
- Still in Universal Updater, also search “Nimbus” and re-install it (no need to uninstall first)
- reboot console
- Open Nimbus and press Start to finish the Nimbus update process
- Open Nimbus and click Pretendo
- Try opening the NNID settings now on Pretendo to sign into your PNID.
@support-helper any idea why this might still be crashing?
Any update about the crash I’ve been experiencing?
@support-helper Pinging again
Don’t worry! Testing on my own, I was being bothered by the HokakuCTR blue screen, so I searched how to disable it, and it was disabling the plug-ins in the Luma menu, after that, I got to get inside again and log in both in my NNID and PNID! Letting you know in case someone in the future has the same issue as me! Thank you for trying effortlessly and for supporting this amazingly ![]()
Also, do I need to have the plug in setting on to play online using Pretendo? It has been quite a long time since I installed Nimbus and I don’t remember much on how it worked, I know how to change servers and such, but that’s all ![]()
Ahh. HokakuCTR itself is your problem. You don’t need it.
Yes. Definitely.
I recommend getting rid of HokakuCTR and then turning your plugins back on.
Just to clarify, that is on the luma folder, the plug-ins, right?
What does HokakuCTR does, by the way?
I believe so?
It allows recording of packet dumps. But that’s not a thing most users need.
Understood, thanks!!
