I was scrolling on pretendo’s X account to see that there was a splatoon website where you can view server statuses on Splatoon! unfortunately, you can no longer go on this website due to some reasons I do not know. and if any of you have been paying attention, there is a similar website to this for Mario kart 8 and its still up! just not the Splatoon one for some reason…
This website is not maintained by Pretendo, and is therefore not under our jurisdiction. In the meantime, you can use other solutions like https://splatcord.ink. Pretendo is also working on their own solution but it is currently in an unfinished state.

I think you were just unlucky, it’s working perfectly now. It generally has pretty good uptime and the site is maintained by a Pretendo developer
