Hello, I’m making this post here since I’ve spent around an hour of searching and have come up empty handed
Is it possible for us to obtain the SMM1 archived level data from pre shutdown? The only archive I’m able to find is the 2018 one and that’s not very useful if we want it to be up to date…
As far as I remember, Pretendo did in fact scrape it along with ACNL dream towns, though I didn’t see it on IA
I believe Pretendo does have an archive of SMM1 levels from Nintendo Network, it’s available on GitHub
That is a tool to download it from Nintendo’s NEX/S3 server (I didn’t read the src so it could be either). Considering the nex server is now kablammo, that won’t work for us.
Edit: Yep, it uses NintendoClients to pull it
Ah, my apologies, I swear it was somewhere though, unless I’m wrong and the only thing that is there is the tool to download from Nintendo’s servers, maybe it does work still but probably doesn’t
But I swear Jon did mention that Pretendo does have an archive of SMM1 courses, or I’m misremembering something
They used the tool to archive it. The archive isn’t public afaik.
Have any clue where/who else I can ask to be able to obtain it?
