Sooo i was playing mario kart 8 online. Until the game tried spectating me to a global match as there was a match going on. But it crashed. This is due to the pretendo servers dont have currently had the addition of mario kart tv so it didnt know what to do. So it crashed

Hello. The same happened to me. Try to enter battle mode, select the track and after the track is chosen, the game crashes. I am using the game without any DLC.
I definitely feel like I have seen videos of people spectating matches on Pretendo, at least while they wait to join. Are you sure MKTV is unimplemented?
I’m pretty sure this was posted at a time where MKTV wasn’t implemented yet.
