Imagine! A pretendo service where you can shop to all of your favorite games on the regular eshop! I call it, “Pretendo Eshop”

Pretendo does not have the rights to distribute games on the eShop, meaning it would be illegal and copyright infringement.

No, eShop uses a special file format from what I understand which nobody really uses

On Twitter there was actually an instance of Pretendo getting the eShop working, although they said that they never knew whether or not this Eshop service see the light of day and most likely will only be used for Pretendo Account management purposes. (e.g deleting your account.)

Yeah, account deletions on 3DS do require eShop so it’s a possibility that part might eventually be enabled but I doubt it.
