Currently, during regular Splatoon matches, the message “A communication error has occurred” appears, and I am returned to the plaza and am unable to be matched. Is Pretendo aware of this issue and has taken any measures?
In many cases, there is no error code for this error, or an error code such as “118-0502” sometimes appears.
Also, if you continue playing after matching has been completed and the battle is over, there is almost no problem.
I have also reported this to Pretendo’s Discord “support” just to be sure.
Just to repeat what I sent to you on your Discord message, as far as I’m aware, the team is aware of this issue.
You don’t need to post it across both platforms since staff should see it regardless of whether it’s on the forum or Discord.

This has been happening to me too, and it’s been really bugging me and i now see that being an octoling wasnt the problem
