Is spotpass being planned on being worked on for pretendo on the 3ds? If so will there be functionality for the mii travelers to come back home after a while for tomodachi life (or possibly send letters)? I’m also wondering if there will be spotpass things like special pretendo items rolled out for different games that support spotpass?
SpotPass already is implemented in a limited sense for 3DS notifications.
We plan to use it for other purposes like the ones you’ve mentioned eventually. Just note that there may be some limitations on what we can use it for because we can’t legally redistribute copyrighted Nintendo content.

Okay! Will my mii travelers come back even if I already sent them off before the spotpass feature? Or will they just be gone?
Unfortunately they’ll be gone, that’s a major issue with StreetPass Relay for Tomodachi Life at the moment
When it’s implemented though, it should work fine
