Question about my PNID

So I have a Pretendo Network ID (Ondrashek) which is my “main” PNID and the one I’m signed in to on my 3DS, but it turns out that there’s also this PNID (Ondrashek06) with the exact same password and with which I’m currently logged in to the forums.

I’ve been asking around previously whether I could change my ID or not, as I’ve always wanted it to be “Ondrashek06” but during initial signup I couldn’t enter numbers for some reason.

But then I signed in to this account with the same password and assumed that someone heard me and changed my ID, but I’ve noticed that the Mii’s the default one and that the ID “Ondrashek” still exists.

Why are there 2 accounts now? Have I unknowingly created this second one? Can the ID “Ondrashek” be merged to this one?

I’m pretty sure that you did end up creating a new account and you now have 2 PNIDs. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to merge PNIDs together, and I doubt this functionality will ever exist for technical reasons.

Would there then be a way to delete this account and change the PNID of that one?

Yeah, please log into the account you want to be deleted on the forum and create a new topic to request deletion.

You cannot rename PNIDs, though.

Just to be sure - there aren’t problems when you have the same NNID and PNID on one device, correct?

If you’re talking about the same username on both accounts on one system, then yes.
