could it be that the problem with connecting to the lobby in splatoon is related to the old version of the inkay plugin?
since I noticed that I have version 2.5.0, and on the site Homebrew App Store - ForTheUsers there is already version 2.6.0
You could run into issues, i would just recommend installing inkay 2.6.0 to be safe, as it also includes SpotPass refresh, which reduces 104-2210
