Looks like there’s an uptick recently of 006-0526 and 106-0526 messages on Discord and the forums lately.
Again, we’re not sure about why this issue is happening. This issue has appeared in the past, but there’s been an uptick of it lately.
I will post any updates regarding to this issue here, we don’t have an ETA on when it’ll get fixed. Thanks @piplupness for originally bringing this to my attention.

To help us gather information, please reply to this thread with information about your system: whether it’s happening on 3DS/Wii U, your console’s region, the region of your game, the version of Super Mario Maker you’re running and whether you’re on SSSL or Inkay (for Wii U).
We would also appreciate it if you could generate logs for the team to diagnose. Jon has a list of instructions here for Wii U owners and on 3DS, please download HokakuCTR and generate logs whilst playing Super Mario Maker (and send them privately to @PN_Jon on Discord ONLY).
