Pretendo setup help!

I downloaded pretendo, made sure patching and modules was enabled in lumas. What do I did after that? I tried visiting someone’s island on New Leaf and wasn’t able to. Can someone help me pls?

It sounds like you should be set up fine, can you clarify what your error code with Animal Crossing New Leaf was?

If it’s 006-0102, make sure you’re on the latest version of New Leaf which is version 1.5.

New Leaf is updated to the latest version and the error code is 002-0110

Are you sure you’re connected to Pretendo servers in Nimbus?

I’m not entirely sure. How do I do that?

If you open Nimbus (if you downloaded the 3DSX version you can find it in Homebrew Launcher or if you downloaded the CIA version you can find it in FBI and install it to the home menu), there’s an option to switch to Pretendo servers

I’m connected to pretendo servers in nimbus but it’s still giving me the same error code

Does it say “Loaded” under Nintendo or Pretendo?

Try this:

  1. Open Universal Updater
  2. Search “Luma” and download boot.firm
  3. Re-install Nimbus from Universal Updater as well
  4. Turn off the 3DS
  5. Hold SELECT and turn it on
  6. make sure now the top 2 options are activated
  7. open Nimbus
  8. switch to Pretendo

I did all that but I’m not able to create an Nintendo ID or even load into New Leaf without it corrupting my save file

PNIDs aren’t used for games. It’s only used for Miiverse when on a 3DS.

But are you trying to create or link? You already have one (this forum account is a PNID)

What error do you get now in ACNL? Can you show a picture?

I was able to figure that out but when trying to create id I know you have to put the language to Spanish in order for it work but when I tried all I got was error 002-2402

Try French instead.

(but why create another account when you have one? @lundar is your PNID)

I understand that but aren’t you supposed to create an id after loading into pretendo on the network id settings?

It still gives me the same error code

If you already have an account (created on Website or Wii U) you can use that.

You can log in with @lundar - not create as you’ve already created.
