Do the forums permit posting selfie threads? This is obviously assuming that only the poster is photographed.
well, since there is alot of minors here its unlikely for the safety for minors, it is possible but only for people 18+
I was on another website which was 13+ and selfie threads were always permitted as long as you were the only person.

We are actually re-working our rules and selfies will be added to Rule 12 (that addition has already been approved internally).

Just to clarify, that addition is to codify the selfie thread ban or to allow selfie threads under specific conditions?
Disallowing images of real people (including selfies) except for public figures (aka celebrities)

It’s a shame that it’s just being codified. Just out of curiosity, is there a chance for this to be revised at some point in the future?
Not that I can see.
These rules reworks have been in the works for months, and the selfies thing was decided early on.
