I would really like to play WiiU online but I don’t have one. Is there a way to play on Cemu without a WiiU? I know that before there was an option to download the files from the website but I can’t find it anymore. I also have a 3DS if that can be useful.
No. You need BIOS files from a legit Wii U to be able to play with CEMU. Pretendo nor the CEMU Emulation prpject support piracy and distribution of such required files.

Well if a friend near you has a wiiu that could dump the bios. You could use cemu. Since, the bios would be legally obtained.
Otherwise, idk about websites. Since, nintendo has been heavilly anti preservation. While, also violating court rullings.
Read the eula sections 1 and 8 on your switch. Youll see what i mean.

What BIOS files are you talking about? Also do you know if Cemu supports online play using a steam deck/linux?
“BIOS files” isn’t totally accurate - you need the OTP and SEEPROM dumps, which aren’t really BIOS files. They can be dumped with the Wii U NAND Dumper, which the Wii U Hacks Guide already has instructions for.

I don’t know, I don’t own a Steam Deck. According to a quick Google search, it sounds like Cemu is fully supported, but I can’t test it myself.

soo it worked, im gonna try splatoon and see if that works i’ll give a update soon
soooooo i tried 3 games, Splatoon, Minecraft And SMM. SMM crashed, Minecraft froze halfway and splatoon didn’t even LOAD!
