Online games don’t work although I’m on Pretendo’s servers on Nimbus

For some reason I can’t use Pretendo when I was previously able to before. I’m unable to use Juxtaposition/Miiverse and it gives me error 015-5015, “An error has occurred. Please try again later.If the An error has occurred.
Please try again later.
If the problem persists, please make a note of the error code and visit support.nintendo.com.problem persists, please make a note of the error code and visit support.nintendo.com.” I’ve also tried to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf online and it gives me error 002-0152, “This service is unavailable. Please try again later.”

I’ve tried to sign in with my Pretendo account in the settings app but it just prompts me to sign in with a regular Nintendo ID then tells me that the account I’ve signed into is already in use. I’m on the Pretendo servers in the Nimbus app so I’m really not sure what’s going on. I used to be able to play on online servers but now all of a sudden I can’t! Help would be appreciated.

With the 015-5015 error, you need to link a PNID. With -0152, you need to open Nimbus every time you want to play ACNL and activate the plugin loader (this is required due to an RCE vulnerability with ACNL).

Specifically about the part where you cannot sign into your PNID (I cannot quote at the moment since I’m on my phone and for some reason quoting doesn’t want to work)

Nimbus does not do any text replacement on it’s own, so it will refer to Pretendo Network and PNIDs as Nintendo Network and NNIDs

As for it saying that your PNID is currently in use, make sure you’re not trying to create an ID and have instead chosen to link an existing ID, and also make sure that your PNID does not have the same username as your linked NNID on Nintendo Network

Your PNID’s username cannot be the exact same as your NNID’s username

Do not confuse username with nickname, the two are different as the nickname typically is your Mii name
