so, ive set up pretendo before on my old 3ds xl but now i got a new 3ds xl and tried to set it up, but theres 2 problems, firstly it’s been a while since ive last done it so ive forgotten everything (im scared to use any video guides and the official guide is very vague). secondly since i already used pretendo on my old 3ds xl it uses my PNID, and i dont know how to remove it. id like to use the same one as i did before since i use the same username for everything and only have one email.
- Mod it http://3ds.guide/
- Open Universal Updater and download Nimbus
- Open Nimbus
- Switch to Pretendo
(Note: linking an account is only needed for Miiverse, not games. See the bottom section of this reply for linking your account)
There are a few steps, but they work to log out on 3DS:
- Hold
SELECTwhen turning on your 3DS. - Disable the first 2 Luma3DS options, then hit
STARTto save. - Open Miiverse, where you should see error code 022-5432.
- Turn off your 3DS, and turn it back on while holding
SELECT. - Enable the first 2 Luma3DS options.
- To check if you got it, open Miiverse again and you should see 022-5432 again.
- Switch to Nintendo in Nimbus.
- Open the Nintendo eShop.
- Switch back to Pretendo in Nimbus.
- You should see error code 015-5015. This means you are logged out of your PNID, and be able to sign in with or make a new PNID.
- After switching to Pretendo in Nimbus like above when setting up, open System Settings
- NNID settings at the top
- Log into your PNID (link it)
ive already done the first 2 steps of the logging out on my old 3ds, but for some reason when i go into miiverse i see error code 015-5015 instead of 022-5432
edit: does this mean im already logged out or something?

yall thanks so much! got everything set up, including juxt! kinda sucks all my posts from the old 3ds got deleted tho, maybe it was in an update or something.
Posts are tied to the account. If you don’t see them, you didn’t use the same account that was there.
