I didn’t either. But anyone can connect just fine to the PADZ “gift” server and get the the SpotPass Relic items.
Fun Fact: The SpotPass server gives out some JP-exclusive relics that crash the game when they’re used! Because the dungeons associated with them were removed from the international release!

Having the relics is fine. It’s just using them in the shrine crash.
