We have a detailed contributing guide on GitHub with all the information you’re looking for!

Please note that you don’t need to “sign up” anywhere - just choose an approved issue (the process is described in the guide) and start working on a PR. If you’re making a larger contribution, it would be good to comment in the issue first to let others know you’re working on it to avoid multiple people working on the same thing at the same time.

Did you read through the contributing guide? There is a “Finding Work” section in it. Is there anything specific that’s confusing?

For the pretendo task and goals how can i get asaigned to a specific task

There are a couple of options:

  • If it’s a quick task that nobody’s currently working on, just start working on it and make a PR
  • If it’s a longer task that you expect to take over a few days, just make a comment on the issue that you’re working on it

Would it specifcally say the programming language its needed in

Well, you just need to check the code of the repository that the issue is on to see what language is needed.

For task and goals where can i find repository for it

Sorry for all the questions as im new to github

It’s listed in the second column of the Tasks and Goals table.

If you’re new to GitHub, I’d strongly recommend checking out the Getting Started on GitHub guide so you can learn how to contribute to projects on GitHub!

Hey i got a question for web development is there a way i can help contribute to that or no?

You should be able to find a task on the project board that’s in a repo related to web development, such as PretendoNetwork/website or PretendoNetwork/juxtaposition-ui.
