Long story short, I wanted to take care of my brother’s town. I got his cardtridge (I think it was spelled like that?) and told me there was an update available. Never really opened the game anyway. I opened my DIGITAL ACNLWA, and guess what? It just froze. I turned off my 3ds, removed the cardtridge and it opened, yay! But, turns out, the plugin is stuck loading, an hour can pass and it’ll still be there, saying “Loading plugin …” i deleted the title, reinstalled it, recovered the save files and it’s still like that. WHAT DO I DO NOW? I DON’T WANT TO BRICK MY CONSOLE!!!

Did you install that update?

Please provide above information, and if you have Checkpoint, I reccomend you make a backup of the save just in case.
Well… I’m not an expert with this, but it’s the plugin you install from Nimbus pressing Y. An hour can pass and it will still say “Loading plugin…”
And forgot to mention it but yes, I always do a checkpoint backup
And, no, I didn’t install any update since I have the 1.5 already installed
Plus, the “update available” only appears when I’m NOT connected to the internet
I assume you’re not using any other plugins at the same time right, just the one built into Nimbus?
You can update your game by switching back to Nintendo Network in Nimbus first and then downloading the update when launching the game.
After it’s done, switch back to Pretendo in Nimbus.
I have not heard of this before.

And, about the update, it only appears when I’m not connected to the internet.
You can’t use Vapecord and the Nimbus plugin at the same time for ACNL.
But the updated Vapecord should already have the RCE patches required to connect to the servers (but is missing the PID logger that the Nimbus plugin has that assists in Hacker reports).
So it doesn’t appear on Nintendo Network?

- While I’m connected to Nintendo’s servers, It also tells me there’s an update available. This time even when I’m connected to the internet.
I’m thinking about deleting the title but this time from the system’s settings, not FBI. (Also reinstalling it later) Also, (somehow) deleting the vapecord and re-launching the plugin. Plus doing a checkpoint copy.

If you’re on version 1.5, you’re on the latest version. Update your version of Vapecord to the latest version and do not launch the plugin bundled with Nimbus and you should be good to go, Vapecord has implemented our RCE patches

Well… I’ve just updated it, however, the update notification still appears, and, when I open the game, it says “Your game version is 1.0! This vapecord only supports 1.5.” It’s literally welcome amiibo?! How is that possible..?
Check your game is updated? You might be on version 1.4 instead of 1.5
Literally 1.5, I’m not even trolling. Again, the vapecord swears I’m 1.0… at this point I’m just going to delete the vapecord, because, in first place, I don’t even need it, plus, it’s literally causing me problems?
I would remove it if you’re not using it 
Did deleting Vapecord fix the rest of your issues? Are you able to play online again using Nimbus?
Heyy! So, I’ve deleted the vapecord folder, all good, also, I’ve deleted the title and ticket of the game (reinstalled it after). However, the same thing keeps happening… I open the game and “update available” I open it anyway. “Wrong version! Plugin may not work!” … darn it. It’s like the vapecord is still there even if I deleted it. What’s next? Plus, (again) it swears I’m on 1.0 when I’m on 1.5… eugh.
