So, on my account, my mii’s name is MrDerpy. On my brother’s account, (FightingMan10) his mii’s name is Ian. He plays Pretendo on his Wii U. I have never messed with putting my account on his Wii U. There’s this weird thing happening where MY mii’s name will pop up when he (and a ton of other miis) use(s) quick chat on MK8. (Only when they use quick chat, not in a race or smth) I’m not even one of the people playing with him. And if it helps anything, he’s using SSSL to play Pretendo. (Btw sry if this is in the wrong category or smth I don’t know a bunch about Pretendo Forums lol)

I don’t think so? You mean like racing as a Mii? (Some of them probably were, I wasn’t paying that much attention…) I was talking about like when everybody gets to vote for the next map and you can chat from a preset list of words and sentences. When someone uses said chat, it’s supposed to say their mii’s name on the top off the message. But it said my name on some of the mii’s. But some players were actually showing their mii’s name. (I’m assuming it was theirs) If it also helps anything, it was my brother’s first time playing MK8 on Pretendo.
Does your brother have your Mii saved on the console in Mii Maker?
No, he does not. Random context, but when it was happening I was on the MK8 Pretendo website logged into his account, but I have logged into both accounts before on the device I was on the site with.

sometimes on mk8 WW lobbies when i touch the mii of the miis that appear on the lobby their names appear as “kiara” instead of their actual Mii names, i believe its a bug from Pretendo side

To add to this, I often see names with forbidden symbols like some users describe; “Wii”, “U” & “(?)”. I can record some sessions to find some if you would like.
I’ve seen what you’re talking about; it’s kind of common. I’ve actually done that before on my 3DS.
