Hi,
I have a hacked Wii U with Aroma and Inkay (Pretendo Network). My Minecraft Wii U Edition is on disc (PAL/EUR region).
When I try to launch the game, I get error 105-4069 “Connection to the server failed”. I think the game is trying to download an update from Nintendo’s servers (which are closed), so it fails before even launching.

Nintendo’s servers are not closed to game updates.

Simply turn Inkay to Nintendo servers, update your game, and then you can switch back to Pretendo servers.
