I need u help. My friend and i want play Mario kart 7 online. We add us on the friendlist. Normal online works. But if i or she go to friends in Mario kart the other Person is offline.
She has no pretendo Account. Maybe thats the Problem.
I hope somebody can help.

That is the problem, unfortunately. She’ll need to mod her 3DS, and create a PNID. The Nintendo Network is gone forever now, and Pretendo isn’t cross-compatible with it.
So if i understand it. Even its mod and she play online on pretendo. Friends dont work because the 3ds think she use a NNID because we dont make a PNID?
You don’t need a PNID to access online services on 3DS. Only a few titles like Miiverse and Nintendo Badge Arcade require it.
As long as you’re connected to Pretendo servers in Nimbus, Mario Kart 7 and friends list should work.
Ah, I thought it was a requirement for matchmaking. I stand corrected.
