Did we just remove the meaning of “Special” Miis altogether?
If everyone now knows how to make a “special” Mii with and without Homebrew, doesn’t that just take away that special-ness vibe? Thus, if everyone could collect one to add to their StreetPass Plaza, then whats the meaning of them being “special” when they become very common?
There’s an achievement for it in Mii Plaza IIRC, but other than that, it’s not very important.
It won’t let me create a special Mii. It says it won’t let me add the special Mii to my Mii Creator thing. I just wanted to have my own Mii with gold pants. I’m sad lol
Can anyone help me create a special Mii version of me, since it’s not letting me? Alternatively, if there’s another method to make me become a special Mii, please let me know. Thanks.
All you need to do is create a QR code of your Mii in the 3DS Mii Maker. Then, upload an image of it here, and I’ll take care of the rest for you.
I did create it but when I try to scan the new code after selecting special mii it says it’s not allowed. Will it still work if I create a QR code and have you do it?
That’s weird. On my 3DS, it happily agrees to scan the QR code.
It says I already scanned it I think or can’t use the special mii. What I’m thinking happened is that it saved a special mii of it and then I might’ve accidentally deleted it without realizing it was the special mii that was saved from the QR code.

This Mii QR Code should work.
It says I cannot receive this mii which I think is because I think I downloaded the special mii and deleted it by accident and now it won’t let me re-download it. Is there anything anyone can do?
I looked into the issue and tried it myself. It turns out it’s a Mii ID problem. I modified the ID and then scanned it, which fixed the problem.

Hey, it works. I have a gold pants mii and it looks identical I think to my personal mii. I can’t tell for sure, but I think the height and everything is the same. Either way, I just made it my personal streetpass mii. Thank you for your help.
Yes really its not really an achievement as its really easy and everyone can do It with or without homebrew so its actually useless i just have It for example because i like the gold menú in The STREETPASS mii plaza and my mii glowing gold but you dont need It and for much of The games its useless for example Mario kart
Mario kart wont care if your mii IS special or no as The mii outfit colour depends on your miis fauvorite color for example mine IS blue yours too Adams IS black etcétera.
In conclusión having your miis pants be gold IS useless and its features are limited so its just for likes.
