Didn’t done much research. Just went throught the install process and it suggested me Cemu.

If you attempt to do this, you are technically breaking the law as you’ll be downloading files distributing illegally. Pretendo does not support piracy.

That’s pretty funny considering how it says on the web page on the Cemu description that you can play even without a console. They should really change that or be more descriptive of using a console, so folks don’t get confused haha
It doesn’t say that anywhere, what are you talking about? The FAQ does not say it, our guide does not say it, and the Cemu guide does not say it. They all say you still need a Wii U as you need to dump files from a real console

While I can see how you could read it that way (which, it doesn’t mean you never need a console at all, it means you can play on platforms besides consoles) and that could probably be worded a bit better, the actual relevant guides which people would need to follow directly say you need a console to set things up

If someone is still “confused”, it’s because they didn’t actually read the guides. You should always be reading the guides
True thing! But wording it better for someone new and leading them to that would be better, right? Plus, it would prevent posts like “if it is possible without a wii u” from popping up in the future!
