<Hey just wanted to know if there is a server for mighty no.9. I mean like the leader boards and that one race mode.
looking through steam, they do have online. but i don’t think it’s implemented on nintendo’s server (i might be wrong)
The game is listed in Pretendo’s network dumps spreadsheet, so I would guess that it uses NEX for online and servers are planned. However, I don’t think anyone on the team has given it a close look yet, so I can’t guarantee that it will be supported. (For example, if it requires additional online servers beyond just NEX, it will most likely not be supported.)
To be 100% clear, these spreadsheets were auto generated. They were made from scans of every game’s build strings, looking for the presence of specific libraries being imported. Some titles may have imported these libraries for one reason or another and just never had any official servers on Nintendo Network
Games like Colors! 3D on the 3DS are like this. The game requests tokens for game servers, but none actually exist since they use their own servers. Iirc some of these libraries are just always imported as part of other auth-related libraries?
Nintendo games tend to have these weird unused configurations. Like Breath of The Wild on Wii U has configuration data for Miiverse, yet that was never used
