Servers for Minecraft Wii U are available for anyone to access, however they’re currently down due to an outage.
We don’t currently allow public matchmaking though so you’ll have to play with a friend

I’m not sure what the exact concerns were but I think it’s also very easy to cheat in Minecraft?
You can still pull IPs in any peer to peer game anyways due to how it works

No, it’s called an “RCE Exploit” - where someone can execute “remote code” and if they wanted to, can go as far as brickign someone’s Wii U.
So that’s why it’s friends only.
Only play with people you trust.
