If there’s no signs of mods on the Wii U side, but there’s mods (e.g. homebrew channel) on the Wii side (virtual Wii, or vWii for short), vWii is hacked, but the Wii U side isn’t.

It’s half hacked. It’s hacked/modded on vWii, but not on the Wii U side.
