Can you please remove my Pretendo account on your end? Due to not understanding limitations of the network and having the same Username as my NN (and the inability to change either this or my e-mail through the site), I am unable to use it as is. If my account could be fully deleted on this end, I can try recreating it with a unique name. Thank you for any help you can provide.
Deleting the account is generally not necessary if you accidentally created an account with the same username as their NNID. Instead, you can just create a new account - you can use the same email address on multiple accounts. If you subscribed to a supporter tier on the unusable PNID, you can request a refund.
Legally they have to delete it (there are some special circumstances that can allow a company to retain data but Pretendo does not apply) under the Data Protection Act 2018.
Pretendo is working on getting prepared for legal stuff as a top priority.
Yes, you’re right. I shouldn’t have said that they’re not accepted, just that deleting the account is generally not necessary.
