I keep getting Error Code: 022-5432 when opening NNID settings

I switch to the Pretendo Servers and When I go into the NNID settings to log in to my Pretendo account I get Error code: 022-5432 and it looks like it’s still logged in to my NNID

  1. Open Nimbus
  2. Switch to Nintendo servers
  3. Open Miiverse (you should get error code 022-2882 if you have a linked NNID or 015-5015 if you don’t)
  4. Exit Miiverse
  5. Open Nimbus
  6. Switch to Pretendo servers
  7. Open Miiverse again on Pretendo to check whether it’s working properly (you should get error code 015-5015 on to confirm this, if you still get 022-5432 try following the steps again)

I got error code: 015-5015. Could the problem be that someone has the same PNID as my NNID

That error code means you haven’t linked a PNID, which is normal if you get 022-5432.

Link a PNID to your 3DS console to access Miiverse. You can do this by opening System Settings > Nintendo Network ID settings and link an existing PNID. Sign in with the account you used to sign into the forum.

Note: Make sure your PNID username is not the same one as your NNID username since you’ll be unable to link if that’s the case.
