I want to play Monster Hunter online on our Pretendo server. Can players from the Japanese server and the American server play together? Or can only the Japanese server version connect with other Japanese server versions?
I believe they can play together to my knowledge and from what I can see from the wiki

Some games are cross-region playable, some are not.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate/G currently has crossplay with each other. Monster Hunter Generations/X doesn’t have crossplay at the moment, though I can make a pull request to add that. Monster Hunter XX was a japanese-only release, therefore crossplay isn’t even a thing.
