Every time I try to host I get error 118-0006, I haven’t been able to host for over 3 weeks. Since the 18th/19th I’m pretty sure. I am able to host on a new account I created so I don’t think it’s an internet issue. If someone could help that would be appreciated.
If you are using cemu then that may be the issue. It’s been anal since I first started using it. Patch Plugins are shit and I can’t get a fucking hour out of a session. Crashes constantly.

Sniffler is a friend of mine too. It sucks more ppl are getting this problem.
Currently, since December 2024, the Minecraft servers have been getting weekly resets to prevent any serious errors. I don’t think this works anymore and something better needs to be done.
Didn’t Mr Jon say something like battle isn’t gonna open because the server costs will be too expensive? Maybe he’s also cheapening the regular servers aswell
Please don’t spread misinformation, rule 14. Minecraft servers are friends only for a reason.
Perhaps I may have misunderstood it. But it does partially look like the costs would be part of the reason it’s not open from what he says

No, it really comes down to what he says in the last paragraph:
Exiting without saving is an option, plus if someone cheats in the minigames it is technically only for “that session” as after the round ends the host could leave. Plus some mods/hacks allow you to disconnect a specific person which would essentially allow a force kick
For there to be all these kinds of things to be aware of is not something players should have to do.

A normal user should not have to remember to exit without saving, or be expected to use client mods.
They should be able to just save and exit like any other game. But as Jon said, due to not everyone having good intentions, in public worlds, it would be very easy to just completely ruin their work.
We do not find these acceptable, so we are electing to keep Minecraft friends only.
The only thing I disagree with here is that exit without saving is something extra to be aware on. Minecraft will force you to select an option every time you exit a world either ⸉exit without saving⸉ or ⸉exit and save⸉. It’s also one of the most common practices in making non-survival worlds on MCWiiU. Usually people make something like a minigame world where the minigames will become destroyed or otherwise need to be reset afterwards. This is when players usually exit without saving to reset the world. I’m confident that most MCWiiU players are aware of ⸉exit without saving⸉ because to ever exit your world with saving you would need to know that you can also exit without saving.

Yeah I haven’t been able to host in 40 days, I also have found 4 other people with the same error who cannot host either, though a few had the error start on different days. Is it ever going to be fixed?
