Hi, I hope this specific question hasnt been asked already. I tried to look a bit, and couldn’t find any answers, so I’m asking here.
So, my console was originally on Tiramisu. I just switched to Aroma, and now im confused on how this works. I dont know much about Wii U modding (i mainly focus on my 3DS) so idk what to do.
When i booted up into Aroma, it asked me to put in the password to my NNID. I put it in, and it isnt working. I assume its because im connected to the Pretendo network, but now i dont know where to go from here.
I havent done anything since switching from Tiramisu to Aroma; just changed/added some files like the wiiu.hacks.guide said to do, and booted up my console.
I assume i need to add my PNID onto my Wii U, but I dont know how to do that. If thats the case, how do I add that? And also, if I cant use my original network ID when using Pretendo, then can I transfer/copy my data onto my Pretendo ID?
If you already have installed Pretendo to the Wii U and all of that, all you need to do now is make sure you are connected (It should be enabled automatically, you can check by going on your Wii U menu and holding L+DpadDown+Select{Minus}) and then just create a new User Profile, typing in everything you would when setting up a NNID, but with your PNID information!
You can find the SaveMii homebrew app in the HB App Store, which will let you back up and restore your save data. You can transfer it by backing up the data from one account and restoring it to another account.
For future reference, there is a text guide on the Pretendo Wii U installation page to transfer save data. We generally don’t recommend video guides since they can get outdated.
