How to request new email verification code

I used the code that Pretendo sent to me but it says the code isnt correct :slightly_frowning_face:. What do i have to do now? :thinking:

You should be able to request for the code to be resent (or you could also change the email to an alias to resend it (e.g. youremail@gmail.com could be adjusted to youremail+pretendo@gmail.com).

Where can i request the code (button ,link ,etc.)

There should be a button to request one on console. I donā€™t recall the exact positioning as Iā€™ve never had to do this on Pretendo.

When you get the popup for the verification on Wii U, you should see two buttons. the top one is ā€œConfirmation codeā€ and the second one is ā€œResend e-mailā€. Click the ā€œResend e-mailā€ button and it should send you another e-mail with a new confirmation code. Then enter the new code on the Wii U.

Well i try to link my wii u via the pretendo code and i need to enter the pretendo code to link with it and nintendo says its wrong.

Are you certain that you are connected to Pretendo while entering the code? If youā€™re using Inkay, make sure itā€™s enabled, or if youā€™re using SSSL, make sure the DNS server is set to Pretendoā€™s DNS.

If it has stopped showing the email verification popup, that just means your email has been successfully verified.

The problem is that my wii u is not linked to my pretendo account i used the steps but the verifcation to pretendo via 6 digit code didnt worked

What is the exact error that shows up? Itā€™s difficult to give help without that information.

I suspect this may be an XY problem.

But again, if it doesnā€™t show you the input field and allows you to launch the game, thatā€™s fine. If it doesnā€™t show you the input field and you get an error when launching the game, we should target that specific error instead of the email verification.

It launches perfectly the game (for example: Splatoon) but the Miiverse and Online Multiplayer features doesnĀ“t work

About the code, every time you boot the Wii U it will ask every time to verify your account, you can send the verification code to your email address and then enter the 6 digit code from your console

Are you sure you have two separate users on your Nintendo Wii U?

One for your NNID, and you use it without DNS or Inkay disabled and the PNID one with DNS set up or Inkay enabled.
