I can’t connect due to the Wii U searching for the original server which was shut down. Are there any solution.
Hello, I see your problem. Please tell me, are you using the SSSL method or are you using the Inkay plugin? You mentioned that “The Wii U searching for the original server,” which can only mean that Pretendo is either:
- Not installed
- Not properly set up
Either these two I should be able to help you to the best of my abilities.

First i put both dns
Then i go to add a new user and i put my pretendo account infos. But it gives me error 102-2613 ( the informations are wrong. You could have put the ID of another service).
I dont really know what to do, i checked everything and the informations are 100% correct and also both dns. Ive been freaking out in the last few days so if u can solve my problem it would me amazing
First off, is your Pretendo Network ID the same as your Nintendo Network ID? Pretendo can’t work with similar IDs. And thank you for the error code which helped narrow down the problems with SSSL.

Does your situation involve with error code 102-2613? I don’t know how I can help, so contact the devs in the Pretendo Discord, some may be there online.
Yeah now I realized that I don’t have a ethernet port. My brother must’ve had it at one point because he downloaded lost reavers.
You can use WiFi to connect online on the Wii U? Can you describe your issue more in depth.
Any 2.4GHz WiFi connection with Open, WEP or WPA2 security should work on a Wii U.

You have a ethernet port right?
No? The Wii U doesn’t come with an Ethernet port. You use an external adapter if you want Ethernet connectivity.
The only console that Nintendo has ever shipped an Ethernet port for is the Switch OLED (and I think you could technically say one of the GameCube’s expansion ports).
