How do I change my pretendo ID?

Alright, I need some help.

I have two types of 3ds:

  • A 2ds
  • A new 2ds XL

I wanted to change the Pretendo account of the new 2ds XL, but accidentally put the same of the 2ds one (that is Giacomo-Pretendo). Now, I wanted to change the ID, and while before I knew how I could do that (by switching 4 times from pretendo servers to Nintendo ones, then going to system settings) now it doesn’t work anymore, I guess because Pretendo got more stability. Now, how do I remove the Pretendo Network ID on the new 2ds XL so that I can put a new one?

For other people having the same problem: just use PNID-Unlink, and the pnid should be unlinked

@Giacomo-Pretendo I apologise for the confusion that might been caused here regarding that. The PNID-Unlink tool does not remove your NNID, just your PNID.

The release of the unlink tool wasn’t really communicated well to members of the public and our team, it is completely safe though since it’s made by one of our developers.

Well don’t worry about that :sweat_smile:. I just wanted to change the ID of the new 2ds XL just to make a little change. I also play with both consoles once/twice a month with FIFA 15 or others with my cousin. I rarely use the consoles when I’m alone, except the 2ds when I do a message on “Miiverse" in the morning and in the evening… well, merry Christmas :latin_cross:
